UNIDOS is launching a new program on Father's Day (June 15, 2008) to invite men and boys to work together with women to eliminate domestic violence in our Latino communities.  We invite all men and boys to sign a pledge that says they will live a life free of violence.  We also invite anyone who would like to honor someone who has lived a respectful, non-violent life (e.g. father, brother, son, friend), or honor someone who has been touched by violence, to sign the pledge. Donations will go toward developing education and support programs for men and boys focusing on the prevention of domestic violence.  The pledge campaign will go from June 15 through October 1.  Everyone who has signed the pledge will be honored at our 12th Annual Celebration on October 17, 2008 in Madison, WI.
